The Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a family/civil law solicitor/generalist solicitor to join our firm. Duties: Attending Court on a daily basis, including for mentions, directions, and small claims matters; Attending to conferences with clients, Counsel, and other stakeholders; Drafting written advice, conducting research, preparing case outlines, Affidavits, and tender bundles; Drafting a range of legal documents including short minutes of Order (family law and civil law); Familiarity with family law and civil law processes; Drafting testamentary documents; Wills, Notices of Enduring Guardians, Enduring Powers of Attorney; Drafting pleadings and assisting in commercial transactions. The Applicant: The applicant should possess the following characteristics: A valid driver's license; 1 year post-admission experience in general practice or family or civil law; Strong written and communication skills; Superior time management skills; and Ability to engage with clients.
