About the Company Our client operates a well-established avocado farming business across two properties in Western Australia, covering 150 hectares of high-quality Hass avocado orchards. With a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Farm Manager to lead operations and drive long-term success.About the Role As the Farm Manager, you will oversee all day-to-day farm operations, including irrigation, pest and disease control, production, harvesting, and infrastructure maintenance. You will play a crucial role in orchard development and strategic planning, collaborating closely with the business owners and team members to drive efficiency and profitability.This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational expertise, staffmanagement skills, and a passion for horticulture.Further to the above, other key responsibilities include:Managing farm infrastructure projects, including orchard redevelopment and new plantings Supervising and mentoring farm staff, leading hands, and seasonal workers Implementing best management practices and agronomist recommendations Maintaining and overseeing farm machinery, buildings, and irrigation systems Ensuring compliance with WH&S and quality assurance standards Follow this link to see more of what Pemberton has to offer: You You're an experienced farming professional with a hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skills, ready to take the next step in your career. While specific avocado experience is ideal, we also welcome candidates with expertise in citrus, macadamias, or other tree crops.To be successful in this role, you will bring:5+ years of experience in farm management, ideally within avocados, citrus, or macadamias Understanding of irrigation, canopy management, and crop cycles. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to oversee equipment and infrastructure maintenance Excellent communication and organisational abilities A positive attitude, adaptability, and a passion for horticulture Experience using farm management software and data recording tools Forklift ticket, AusChem or ChemCert, HR license, First Aid certification.
