Festival Role: Freelance Project Manager Company: Imaginate Deadline: 17 March 2025 at 12:00 We seek a freelance Project Manager to support the successful delivery of our Family Day at the National Museum of Scotland on Saturday 24 May on a short-term contract. Dates/times: 13 days (to be mutually agreed) between April and 24 May, including Saturday, 24 May Fee: £2400 How to apply: Send your CV and a short cover letter to by 17 March 2025. Description of role: We are seeking a freelance Project Manager to support the successful delivery of our Family Day at the National Museum of Scotland on Saturday 24 May on a short-term contract. Leading up to the event, the Project Manager will work closely with our Assistant Production Manager, Production Manager, and Technical Manager to ensure a seamless experience. Key responsibilities: Act as the main liaison between Imaginate and NMOS. Coordinate with artists, advance production needs, and gather risk assessments. Manage event scheduling and name lists. Oversee technical and logistical planning alongside the Assistant Production Manager. Supervise Stage Managers and Technicians on the event day. Coordination with the National Museum of Scotland. Line management of Stage Managers and Technicians throughout the event. What we're looking for: Experience in Project or Event Management. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to stay calm under pressure in a busy festival environment. Passion for live performance and audience engagement. Experience of Production & Technical Theatre and events desirable but not essential.
