The Role Our local Omega 365 team is a dynamic and ambitious group of forward-thinking professionals. As a result of this exceptional growth in our Australian offices, we are seeking a Finance & Commercial Manager to join our team. This key role will be instrumental in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and strengthening financial controls. Reporting to the Managing Director, this position requires a strategic and analytical leader with a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial management. Key responsibilities: Internal controls and compliance Oversee the preparation and issuance of invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Manage the invoicing process to ensure all billable items are captured and billed appropriately Oversee Accounts Payable & Receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions. Implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables Manage Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and timely lodgement of returns Governance and compliance with State legislation. Ensure compliance with all relevant State legislation and company policies. Implement and maintain governance frameworks to support financial integrity and accountability Ensure accurate calculation and timely payment of superannuation contributions Manage relationships with superannuation funds and address employee queries. Processing of payroll including processing of periodic wages and allowances Calculation of leave accruals for employees Payroll tax reconciliations and lodgement Preparation and lodgement of BAS Management of single touch payroll Guidance on pricing and contracting methodology. The Candidate Our Financial Controller will be a Chartered Professional Accountant with extensive experience in a similar role and industry. They will have a high level of integrity and ethical standards and be a team player who thrives in a fast paced and dynamic company with a high degree of autonomy. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in multinational companies.
