Manager - Advisory & Strategy 12 month fixed term contract (review to turn permanent) Flexible remote working across Sydney Business partnering and M&A Join a leading provider of financial services, delivering tailored solutions in wealth management, accounting, and business advisory. Key Responsibilities Business Partnering: Oversee monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Act as finance lead for M&A due diligence, integration, and pipeline forecasting. Ensure accuracy of M&A dashboard and acquisition financials. Support new Group POC and Capex initiatives. Bridge Go-to-Market (GTM) and divisional financial performance, identifying risks/opportunities. Provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making. Develop and maintain Cost to Serve/Grow models. Manage financial risks and opportunities. Planning & Analysis: Consolidate financial data for Group reporting (M&A, GTM, Capex). Support budgeting, planning, and forecasting for GTM and M&A. Analyze pipeline and sales metrics to enhance performance. Play a key role in strategic planning for M&A and GTM. Reporting & Communication: Deliver high-quality reporting, insights, and scenario analysis. Utilize visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) for financial storytelling. Present analysis in clear, actionable formats. Partner with stakeholders to enhance financial understanding. Support M&A integration and post-acquisition reporting. Required Skills: Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management. Performance-driven with continuous improvement mindset. Effective communicator with excellent problem-solving abilities. Detail-oriented, agile, and collaborative. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s in Accounting/Business; CPA or CA (completed or in progress). 5+ years in finance (corporate or professional services). Expertise in financial modeling, reporting, and business case writing. Experience with Power BI and project management frameworks preferred. Key Attributes: Strong engagement and leadership skills.
