Quinn Allan are proud to be partnering with a dynamic and growing real estate investment company specialising in acquiring, managing, and developing commercial properties, to assist them with the recruitment of a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will oversee and manage the company’s financial operations. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role is pivotal in providing strategic financial insights, ensuring robust financial management, and supporting the company’s growth objectives. Key Responsibilities Prepare, analyse, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial stability. Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. Oversee the management and compliance of trust accounts, ensuring all transactions adhere to regulatory requirements. Reconcile trust accounts regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance. Manage the calculation and timely distribution of returns to investors. Prepare and provide detailed reports on trust account performance and distributions. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and company policies. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisers to facilitate audits and filings. Provide guidance and support to junior finance staff. Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment on financial objectives. Key Selection Criteria Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA or CPA Qualified. Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within real estate, property investment, or related industries. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
