Primary Details Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeLocation: Sydney Type: Permanent, full time Hybrid role, happy to talk flexible working The opportunity As a Finance Manager within the Reporting and Process Improvement team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing management reporting and consolidating financial data across multiple business units. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with strong reporting expertise and a keen ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights. Your new role Prepare and deliver accurate, timely, and insightful management reports to support decision-making. Support the divisional reporting process through coordination, collaboration, stakeholder engagement, data consolidation, and providing actionable insights to key stakeholders. Act as the primary point of contact for management reporting queries and deliverables, collaborating closely with senior leadership, finance business partners, and Group functions. Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial objectives and reporting priorities. Identify opportunities to enhance financial reporting processes, implementing solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency. Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives within the reporting function to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort. Provide guidance and support to junior team members on consolidation and reporting tasks. Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting requests, and projects as required by senior management. About you Demonstrated experience in management reporting, ideally within the insurance or financial services industry. Advanced proficiency in Excel, with preferred experience in financial reporting systems such as Hyperion or Oracle. Strong ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and communicate key insights succinctly. Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present financial information clearly, enabling collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders. A proactive mindset with a focus on problem-solving and optimizing processes to drive efficiency and accuracy.
