What you will do as the Finance Officer - Travel Coordinator Join our team as a Travel Coordinator, where you'll play a key role in managing travel administration, ensuring policy compliance, and supporting financial processes. You'll also provide guidance on Australian Government travel policies, assist with accounts and expense management, and handle travel user account updates. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a streamlined and efficient travel program! As the Travel Coordinator, you will: Undertake travel administration including reconciliation, monitoring, compliance, and reporting functions. This includes reviewing travel documents against ACCC travel policy requirements and generating travel allowances. Assist the Financial Accounting team with accounts and expense processing, reconciliation tasks, credit card management, and employee offboarding as required. Provide advice and guidance on Whole of Australian Government travel policies to internal stakeholders. Manage travel users (adding, updating, and removing accounts). About you In order to succeed in the role, you will have: Demonstrated knowledge of Commonwealth travel policies and requirements. Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, organise, and prioritise a demanding workload. Demonstrated ability to be highly organised with strong attention to detail. Sound judgement and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and orally, with a range of people.
