About the Company The company is a not-for-profit organization conveniently located in Adelaide CBD. About the Job This position is responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization. This role will ensure compliance with financial regulations, maintain accurate financial records, and provide support in financial decision-making to enhance the organization’s ability to deliver services to its members and community. Your duties will include: Financial operations management Financial reporting and compliance Cashflow management Budgeting About the Manager/Team This role is a newly-created permanent headcount and would report to the Finance Manager. There is planned career progression and future leadership responsibility for a team of 3 Finance Officers (AP, AR, and payroll). Skills & Requirements for the Job You must possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting in the commercial sector. You should be highly skilled in MS Excel, with a high attention to detail, plus strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. In addition, you should possess strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
