About The Role: This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our payroll and commission processes, driving efficiency, accuracy, and compliance working within our dynamic and high-performing team. The Performance Analyst - Payroll and Commissions is responsible for calculating and provisioning real-time support to front-end sales teams regarding pay and commissions. You will need to possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and expertise in payroll processes and commission structures. A deep understanding of financial data analysis, payroll systems, and commission calculations to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our compensation processes is required. Key Responsibilities Be the first point of contact to solve commission queries. Support the calculation of commissions, boosters, and related payments. Administer commission contracts within Airtable and manual spreadsheets. Support the administration of incentive structures. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and regulations. Develop, maintain, and update reporting mechanisms to track key performance indicators (KPIs). Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, Sales, and Operations to gather data, resolve discrepancies, and implement process enhancements. Continually improve the commissions and payroll function. Support the creation and maintenance of payroll and commission policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance. Provide insights and recommendations to management and team members based on analysis of payroll and commission data, supporting strategic decision-making and resource allocation. Support the finance team in validating pay runs to accounting data. Support the finance team in month-end close procedures. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred. Experience with databases such as Airtable. Experience with payroll and commission software systems (e.g., Hero Pay, Xero, Salesforce), with the ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets. Core Competencies: Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, including advanced functions and complex formulas. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and draw actionable insights. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining data integrity and compliance. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
