Capstone Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Base pay range A$180,000.00/yr - A$240,000.00/yr TSL are a UK-headquartered Construction business delivering turnkey projects for clients in Food, Pharma, Logistics, Hi-Tech Manufacturing and Data Centers. Operating globally and with a strong growth trajectory, they have expanded into Australia where significant opportunities exist to work with established clients. The Role The role will be responsible for all finance related activities across the newly established Australian entity. You’ll undertake all aspects of financial management, including the development of internal controls, policies and procedures, building a high performing team and partnering with each business function to provide financial and commercial insight. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly management accounts, P&L statements and balance sheets. Implement and maintain strong financial controls, internal policies, and compliance with local accounting standards. Manage project costing, profitability analysis, and cost control across multiple construction projects. Provide strategic financial advice to senior management, identifying risks and opportunities. Ensure timely tax filings (incl GST, FBT, Payroll, Corporate etc), and lead the local financial audit. The Successful Candidate To be successful in the role, you’ll have the following skills/experience: Construction sector experience Thorough knowledge of Australian Tax & Accounting standards and procedures. Strong systems, controls and process improvement skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment. Strong stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
