YOUR MISSION We’re looking for a hands-on Financial Controlling Manager to ensure the financial health and compliance of our PUMA businesses in Australia and New Zealand. Why Join PUMA? Your Role: Oversee the generation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to local and regional stakeholders. Ensure financial records comply with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and annual statutory accounts in line with AASB and IFRS reporting standards. Manage cashflow reporting and analysis, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Provide support on tax compliance matters and collaborate with internal and external auditors. Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting systems, and workflows across Finance and Retail. Leverage technology and automation solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Manage and mentor the financial controlling team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Provide training and professional development opportunities to team members. Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. Oversee insurance administration and management. Your Talent: CPA/CA qualified with 5+ years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, or a similar role (Retail/FMCG experience favourable). Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS, AASB), tax legislation, and ASIC requirements. Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Microsoft Dynamics). Advanced Excel skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Organised, process-driven mindset with resilience and adaptability. Proven track record of leading and mentoring financial teams.
