Join a reputable government department for a 6-month casual contract, with a high level of autonomy. Your new company Hays are proud to be partnering with a reputable Government Department in the search for a Financial Operations Manager to join their team on a 6-month casual contract. 6-Month Contract Attractive Hourly rates Hobart CBD Your new role Due to a new project of work, you'll be joining an established small knit team in the Hobart CBD office. Being employed on a 6-month casual contract, you'll be an integral member of the existing team. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Managing expense reporting and financial documentation Maintaining monthly accruals Monthly budgets Work closely with internal stakeholders to review processes and procedures. Monthly financial reports and analysis Other project work as required. What you'll need to succeed As the ideal candidate, you'll be CA/CPA qualified and have practical experience within a similar role within a large-scale complex environment. You'll have excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and can work with minimal supervision and within a high functioning team. You'll also possess strong IT abilities, have clear and concise communication skills, and the ability to swiftly develop internal stakeholder relationships. You'll also hold a driving licence and be prepared to undergo a national police check.
