The opportunity to join our team We are currently on the lookout for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Financial Planning Assistant to provide professional administrative support to the wealth management activities of the business. In this client-facing role, you’ll be working closely with the Private Wealth Advisers (PWAs) to build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients and respond to general client queries and requests. This role also includes administrative support for the PWAs, including scheduling client meetings and diary management, preparing documents for client reviews, maintaining client records, and other general administrative tasks. On top of the above, you’ll also liaise with key stakeholders to ensure all client tasks are completed within set time frames – so if you like what you’ve read so far, we’d love to hear from you. What we are looking for in a successful candidate Ideally, you have previous experience in a similar role within the financial services or a related industry, and if you have completed or are studying relevant qualifications in Business/Commerce, Diploma of Financial Planning, and/or RG146 Compliance, it would help put your application ahead of the rest. A seasoned professional, you’re hard-working, resilient, and committed to delivering positive outcomes for clients and colleagues. Secondly, you’re proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite, and previous expertise with XPLAN software would be a bonus. Lastly, at Shadforth, we pride ourselves on providing quality client service to our clients, so having a focus on excellent client service and strong attention to detail will really help you hit the ground running in this action-packed role.
