Add expected salary to your profile for insights The Opportunity: This is a newly created role to continue the growth of our clients inhouse engineering and design team. This role will support the business in providing complex and pragmatic fire safety design solutions across the company divisions and customer needs within NSW and QLD. What you will be responsible for: Lead the design of fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using industry software. Oversee design projects from concept through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints. Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers and installation teams, to ensure smooth project execution. Liaise with clients and contractors to deliver tailored fire protection solutions. What you will bring: Relevant accreditations as a Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or C10 (fire safety) for fire protection design is highly desirable. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). 7+ years of experience in designing fire protection systems. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant programs. In-depth knowledge of Australian fire safety regulations, including AS 2118 and AS 2419.
