Job Description
We are seeking a qualified, skilled and motivated Fitter and Turner to join our client's team in Dandenong South for the afternoon shift, running from 2 pm to 10 pm. Our client is a leader in the recycling and sustainability space.This role offers an opportunity to work autonomously while contributing to a dynamic team environment. You will become an integral part of maintenance and production processes, ensuring operational efficiency and workplace safety. Key Responsibilities: Conduct fitting and turning tasks involving motors, water pumps, and conveyors. Perform basic welding when required. Execute disconnections and reconnections for testing, tagging, and lockout procedures. Work independently while maintaining communication and crossover with the day team during the training phase. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational guidelines. Requirements: Certificate in Trade (Fitter and Turner). Relevant experience with motors, water pumps, conveyors, and basic welding. Ability to machine parts where necessary. Dual Trade qualifications highly regarded. Valid certification for disconnect and reconnect ticket, or the willingness to undergo training.
