Job Description About the Role Reporting to the Shift Team Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our plant and equipment. This hands-on position focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving preventive maintenance programs to minimise downtime and support production goals. Roster: Lifestyle-friendly 12-hour shifts with a 7-day rest period every 4 weeks. Remuneration: Attractive annualised package with opportunities for overtime. Desired Skills and Experience Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively in a team environment, including with apprentices, to resolve day-to-day maintenance challenges. Perform preventive maintenance to enhance equipment reliability and support continuous improvement initiatives. Respond promptly and efficiently to breakdowns to minimise production disruptions. Analyse faults, provide solutions, and implement rectifications. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards. Plan, organise, direct, and control the daily tasks you are undertaking to align with operational requirements. About You Mechanical trade certificate (e.g., Fitter and Turner). A demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Basic computer literacy to support maintenance documentation and planning. Experience in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment. Why Join AKD?
