$95k+super+lve load+6 wks lve+relocation+Phone West Arnhem Regional Council covers an area of almost 50,000 km2 of stunning natural landscape in the western part of Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. More than two thirds of the region’s population of just over 6,000 identify as Aboriginal Australians, who reside in a collection of towns, communities and outstations. Council provides a range of local government services to five towns and communities across five wards with many popular tourist destinations. About the role This role will oversee and manage West Arnhem Regional Council’s (Council’s) Fleet operations, including capital acquisitions and disposals budget management, repairs, preventative maintenance, and overall fleet performance in alignment with approved budgets and Council’s policies and procedures. About you Previous experience in the fleet management of heavy trucks, earth moving equipment, light vehicles, garden mowers and fixed plant, including pumps and pipe works. Previous experience in plant and equipment asset management and preventative maintenance applications. Demonstrable ability to communicate financial concepts and solutions and prepare a range of project-related reports to internal and external stakeholders.
