A destination to experience the vibrant soul of Melbourne. Melbourne Place is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Events Staff to join our vibrant team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional experiences for our guests during a variety of events. The ideal candidates will possess outstanding customer service skills, a proactive attitude, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Key Responsibilities Event Setup and Pack Down: Assist with the efficient setup and pack-down of events, ensuring all equipment and materials are ready for use. Guest Services: Welcome guests warmly, provide assistance and information, and ensure a memorable experience. Bar Service: Serve beverages responsibly while maintaining cleanliness in the bar area. Cleaning Duties: Ensure event spaces are tidy before and after events, including restocking all necessary amenities. Safety Compliance: Act as a fire warden in emergencies and adhere to all health and safety protocols. Technical Support: Assist with basic AV and technical equipment as required during events. Professional & Personal Qualities Required Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on guest satisfaction. Flexibility: Ability to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays. Reliability: Dependable with a proactive approach to tasks. RSA Certification: Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate is mandatory. #J-18808-Ljbffr
