The home has strong links to the local community and a warm, friendly team, many of whom have been at the home a number of years. Estia Health Yarra Valley Home is around 45 minutes drive from Ringwood and 30 minutes drive from Lilydale. About the roles Join our Yarra Valley Home team on a Part Time or Casual basis as experienced Food Services Assistants (Kitchenhands) and feel supported with ongoing training. You’ll wake up each morning wanting to see people enjoy food as much as you do. Here’s what a typical day involves: Prepping and serving food and drink. Cleaning – you bring a sparkle to the place in more ways than one. Changing up the menu. You’ll work with our team and residents to create exciting meals that cater to every individual. Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program. Being active and on your feet for most of your shift. You’ll be a real team player who has: A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives. Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus). Great time management and planning skills. Completed the Basic Food Handling Course.
