Here's an overview of our role: We are currently looking for a Front End Engineering Design Project Manager who will facilitate FEED to support the execution of Financial Investment Decisions (FID). The Project Manager will manage 6-8 projects of various sizes and complexities at any one time. Working closely with the Asset and Operations, Commercial, Regulatory, and Electricity Service Delivery teams, you will ensure assigned projects are technically feasible, economically justified, meet regulatory obligations, and are delivered to the required standard and in the committed timeframes. Responsibilities: Supporting the Network Investment & Delivery Manager to meet Jemena’s strategic requirements. Ensuring that a robust options analysis has been completed and that the most appropriate, optimised solution is selected. Developing feasibility concepts and detailed FEED to clearly define the scope, budget, schedule, and proposed delivery strategy. Providing budget and schedule estimation to ensure all assigned projects select optimised solutions with appropriate value engineering to ensure prudency and efficiency. Identifying and engaging internal/external stakeholders related to proposed works and attaining all required regulatory and statutory approvals for the proposed projects. Managing projects to the agreed performance criteria, under the governance processes in place, and in accordance with Jemena’s policies, processes, and systems. A little about you: To be selected for interview please ensure your resume highlights: Tertiary qualifications and/or higher in Engineering or an equivalent discipline & CPPM qualification or the ability to obtain accreditation. Experience in the Australian energy utilities/services provider and contractor market in the electricity distribution sector. A demonstrated track record of managing delivery of engineering feasibility, conceptual designs, and customer commercials for engineering projects in value > $50M. Strong project management / project delivery methodology experience. Regulatory approvals experience. Strong written and verbal communications skills.
