Graduate Design Project Manager - Prefabricated Houses (Chinese Speaking) As the Design Project Manager for Prefabricated Houses, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design process for our prefabricated home projects. Based in the Gold Coast, QLD you will collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure our designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also efficient and practical for manufacturing and assembly. Your leadership and project management skills will help us deliver high-quality homes that exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities: Manage the design process for prefabricated housing projects from initial concept through to final execution. Collaborate with architects and design teams to create innovative and functional designs that align with client needs and industry standards. Coordinate with engineers to ensure structural integrity and adherence to building codes. Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards. Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates and manage expectations. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologies related to prefabricated housing. Regular travel to China to visit production. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. Proven experience in project management, preferably within the prefabricated construction or residential design sector. Strong understanding of design principles, construction methods, and building codes. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, Revit) and project management tools. Fluent in Chinese would be an advantage. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects.
