Sydney CBD based office | Hybrid WFH About the company: Leading investment management firm, is seeking an experienced Investment Systems Business Analyst for a 6-month contract . This role is critical in ensuring smooth front-office support , handling BAU change , and optimising trading workflows within the Charles River investment platform. About the role: As an Investment Systems Business Analyst , you will work across two teams , providing hands-on support for Charles River while managing small BAU changes related to trading workflows, middle office, and back-office operations . You will also contribute to system migration and integration projects , supporting data flows, IBOR data , and FactSet feeds to ensure seamless investment operations. This role requires a deep understanding of data management, investment workflows, and IBOR processes , making it ideal for someone with a strong front-office support background . Key Responsibilities Provide front-office support for trading teams using Charles River . Handle BAU change requests , optimizing trading workflows, middle office, and back-office processes . Assist in system migrations and integrations , ensuring minimal disruption to investment operations. Support data flows, IBOR data, and FactSet feeds , ensuring data consistency and accuracy. Collaborate with stakeholders across trading, operations, and IT teams to drive workflow improvements. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to investment systems, trade flows, and data management . Qualifications & Experience Must-have: Strong experience in Charles River (CRIMS) . 6+ years as a Business Analyst within investment management , asset management , or buy-side trading environments . Deep understanding of investment workflows , trading processes , and IBOR (Investment Book of Record) . Experience supporting data flows and FactSet feeds . Strong knowledge of middle office and back-office operations within trading systems. Ability to manage small BAU changes while supporting strategic system improvements. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment . Benefits 6-month contract with potential for extension.
