Your opportunity As a Functional Lead for Asset and Works Management, you will be responsible for the management of work within the team that encompasses Asset Strategy, Maintenance planning, work scheduling, dispatch and works delivery, and associated system process governance for all asset types. You will also lead the team in the functional delivery of new minor capabilities and operational support on behalf of Energy Queensland. This role can be based at any one of our major EQL locations including Brisbane, Toowoomba, Maryborough, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville, or Cairns. The remuneration for your new role is from $199k plus 14.75% super for a 10-day fortnight. What’s on offer? What you’ll bring In this role you will manage the Asset and Works Management Functional Services and enable the team’s success through the active delivery, support and guidance, and continuous optimisation of the team’s delivery framework. Ensuring that the technology and solutions are appropriate and meet business requirements. Specifically, we are looking for: Previous experience working in a leadership role in an SAP environment including demonstrated domain knowledge of SAP S/4 EAM. Experience with SAC analytics, Data Sphere and Enterprise Content Management are desirable. Proven ability to lead functional staff in planning, troubleshooting, assessing risk and implementing risk mitigation strategies. Demonstrated experience of associated technologies in the EAM lifecycle and willing to support some of the other technologies used within EQL. Demonstrated ability to maintain contemporary management practices including performance management, change management, quality management, employment equity and workplace health and safety, and the ability to foster a customer service focus. Demonstrated experience in taking ownership of deliverables, building exceptional working relationships and fostering teamwork within multi-disciplinary teams containing both internal and external resources to ensure that the EAPS Groups’ strategic initiatives are met, and operational targets are achieved. Proven ability to manage continuous improvement initiatives logically based on business priorities, cost of delay and the capacity available to launch and execute new initiatives within the Foundation Services. Demonstrated ability to contribute to building effective contractual arrangements that support the effective working relationship between internal and external service providers in the life cycle management of customer facing services. High level of interpersonal communications and negotiation skills in a complex and highly technical business environment, including the ability to consult and influence the decision-making process. Qualifications and experience: Bachelor's degree in information technology or business or equivalent qualification and/or demonstrated competence appropriate to the position. Core SAP experience of minimum 5+ years. Experienced in application of agile methodology and toolset.
