Position Overview: We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Furniture Salesperson and Administration Assistant to join our team part-time (3 days per week). This role is ideal for someone who values stability, enjoys working independently, and takes ownership of their responsibilities. We want to attract someone who will stay long-term, ensuring continuity for our customers and business. If you’re passionate about furniture, enjoy engaging with customers, and can work efficiently without constant supervision, this role is for you. Who We’re Looking For: This role is perfect for: A mature, experienced professional looking for a long-term part-time role. You may be semi-retired or seeking a stable position where your experience is valued. A parent returning to the workforce who needs a flexible schedule and appreciates a stable, independent role. A detail-oriented, trustworthy individual who takes pride in their work and values autonomy. Someone passionate about furniture and design , who enjoys working with high-quality products and helping customers find the perfect piece. Key Responsibilities: Sales Duties: Assist customers in selecting furniture that suits their needs and preferences. Provide expert knowledge on furniture quality, restoration, and materials. Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing showroom. Build strong relationships with clients and follow up on inquiries. Achieve and exceed sales targets by offering excellent service. Administration Duties: Process orders, track inventory, and manage supplier communications. Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional manner. Coordinate deliveries and maintain accurate customer records. Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing and data entry. What You Need to Succeed: Previous experience in furniture sales, retail, or administration preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in basic computer applications (email, inventory management systems, etc.). Ability to commit long-term and become an integral part of our small, dedicated team.
