GSO Food Services Assistant & Housekeeping Assistants Eden Private Hospital is a 48 bed rehabilitation, sub-acute medical hospital located in the idyllic Noosa Hinterland township of Cooroy. Eden Private is a progressive leader in the delivery of health services in Queensland and is supported by multiple Aurora Hospital sites Australia Wide. Eden Private Hospital is dedicated to excellence through the provision of compassionate quality care, teamwork and innovation. We require a Food Services Assistant/Housekeeping Assistant to assist in the preparation and delivery of dietary services or general cleaning within the hospital. We are looking for a suitable applicant with the skill requirements below: Position requirements: Previous knowledge in Food Safety handling – (current certificate desirable) Knowledge in food preparation in a hospital setting High attention to detail and Occupational Health and Safety Possess knowledge in compliance with food safety and cleaning guidelines and principles Working knowledge of infection control and effective cleaning and sanitising knowledge Flexible work attitude Professional appearance Ability to effectively work within a multi-disciplinary team This position is subject to pre-employment criminal history checks.
