We support Australians living with dementia and their changing behaviours through specialist programs on behalf of the Federal Government. About the role The General Manager, Commercial Performance & Growth works within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare and oversees, leads and drives Home Care financial indicators, reports and budgets to optimise and enhance financial outputs across Home Care. The role works with Client Care, Care Service (Clubs, Cottages and ILU) and Care Delivery teams, in partnership with marketing and admissions to strategically grow services across areas of operation. A key focus is the leadership of the SSO teams (Service Support Officers) and contract management team that engage with Government and local contractors, to ensure compliance and quality that drive improved client outcomes. This is permanent full-time position ideally based at our head office in St Leonards in NSW and will have presence at various other HammondCare Home Care locations. Key Focus Areas: Increase Sales and Revenue - By identifying new market opportunities and optimizing sales strategies. Expand Market Share - Through targeted marketing and strategic partnerships. Improve Profit Margins -By optimizing pricing strategies and reducing costs. Enhance Customer Satisfaction - By understanding and meeting customer needs more effectively About you Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action Tertiary qualification in business management, finance or a related degree. Significant experience operating at an operational and managerial level Aged or health care experience Knowledge of aged care financial drivers – home care packages Strong financial management skills Proven ability to work in an operational environment that requires high attention to detail, particularly in regard to compliance and regulation matters Demonstrated negotiation, decision-making, problem solving and conflict resolution skills Demonstrated analytical skills to identify risk and make recommendations for change Effective change management skills and experience with a flexible approach to change Experience managing, developing and coaching a team of skilled professionals Experienced in operating effectively in a multi-site environment Strong administrative and computer skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Empathy and patience, with teams and those we serve A current driver’s license and safe driving record Willingness to travel between HammondCare’s sites and services Apply now If you are ready to make a difference with HammondCare, apply now attaching a cover letter and current resume.Applications close 24 March 2025.
