With multiple Early Learning Centres across the Perth Metro area, this pivotal Leadership role, managing a large, diverse and dynamic team will drive service delivery outcomes, ensuring best practice to achieve team performance and operational excellence within MercyCare’s Early Learning function, proudly providing exemplary service to children and families utilising our Services, whilst fostering a team culture of inclusion, diversity, collaboration, and high performance. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will make a visible impact, influencing the delivery of key Operational drivers across Business Growth and Sustainability, Financial & Workforce Management, Risk, and Procurement activity, with unique opportunities to partner with key internal and external stakeholders on strategic business projects. The role holds significant stakeholder management responsibility across all service streams to ensure business outcomes are achieved and a Person-centred approach is applied across all Early Learning delivery activities. About you As an authentic, strategic and visionary leader who exudes passion and energy for Early Learning education, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact! You will successfully balance ‘big picture’ thinking with the delivery of daily operational requirements. Your previous relevant experience in an Operational Senior Leadership role will lend well to influencing, managing and mentoring large teams, and your understanding and application of legislative requirements as they pertain to the Early Learning Sector. Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience will see you lead decisively on fast-moving operational demands, coupled with strong influencing and people skills to ensure meaningful stakeholder relationships at all levels to achieve business outcomes. In addition, you will have: Postgraduate level qualifications in Children’s Services, education or related field Qualifications in Business and Leadership are desirable Relevant Senior leadership experience within the Early Learning sector is essential Strong financial management experience, including budgeting and strategic planning Demonstrated ability to lead business development and resource planning Working with Children Check (WWCC) National Police Clearance Driver's License About the benefits Be part of something truly inspiring!
