Job Description

We’re seeking a strategic leader to join our Enterprise Risk Leadership Team in this newly created role, designed to support our growing and friendly Enterprise Risk team. You’ll shape risk governance and practice across the EQT Group, working closely with executive leadership, Boards, and committees. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you’ll lead a team of four senior direct reports and 5–8 indirect reports, setting risk frameworks, driving transformation, and fostering a risk-aware, client-first culture. About the role: Develop and refine risk frameworks, policies, and governance structures. Build relationships with key regulators and industry bodies including APRA, ASIC, AFCA, FSC, Build relationships within the Enterprise Risk team and internal teams, reporting to Boards and committees on risk management and compliance matters, as required. Oversee key projects, strengthen risk controls, and enhance GRC systems. Mentor and develop a high-performing risk team. Key Skills & Experience: Extensive experience in superannuation or trustee services, with deep risk management and regulatory expertise. Proven leadership, including influencing Boards, regulators, and senior stakeholders. Strong communication and decision-making skills with a commercially aware, client-focused mindset.
