The Opportunity Transform lives through financial leadership at Plan International Australia. We’re seeking an exceptional General Manager, Finance for a 12-month parental leave cover to drive our financial strategy and innovation. The role is a Senior Leader in the organisation, demonstrating feminist leadership principles, and challenging traditional financial practices in order to deliver better value for the communities Plan serves. This is what we stand for. What is it really like? Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you’ll lead a dedicated finance team and manage an organizational budget of approximately $65M. You’ll play a crucial role in: Strategic Leadership Shape organizational strategy through a sophisticated financial lens Drive innovative budgeting and resource allocation that maximizes our impact Architect financial strategies that fuel sustainable growth Financial Management Deliver crystal-clear financial insights to diverse stakeholders Lead audit processes with unwavering integrity Champion financial best practices and compliance across the organization Team Management Inspire and develop a high-performing finance team (2 direct reports, 2 indirect) Foster a culture of coaching and continuous improvement Align team strategies with PIA’s bold organizational vision Who are you? Hours, pay and start date This 12-month parental leave cover offers a competitive package commensurate with your experience.
