General Manager - Luxury Retail We are proud to partner with a prestigious luxury retailer in the search for an accomplished General Manager to lead its national retail network. A background in Fashion, Jewellery, Watches, is the preferred background. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned retail executive with 10+ years of experience in premium or luxury retail management to drive sales growth, operational excellence, and an unparalleled customer experience. The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of high-end retail, along with a strong track record in multi-site leadership, strategic planning, and commercial performance. The Role As General Manager, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end operations of the retail network, ensuring excellence in sales, customer experience, and business performance. You will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance profitability, strengthen brand positioning, and optimise store performance. You will lead the roll-out of new store openings with a hands-on approach. Key responsibilities include: Sales & Profitability - Drive revenue growth through strategic pricing, targeted promotional campaigns, and an exceptional in-store experience. Retail Operations - Oversee store performance, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and alignment with company objectives. Customer Experience - Maintain the highest standards of service to engage and retain a loyal client base. People Leadership - Mentor, inspire, and develop store managers and regional leaders to build a high-performing retail team. Financial & Budget Control - Monitor key financial metrics, manage costs effectively, and ensure strong P&L performance. Inventory & Merchandising - Work closely with buying and product teams to maintain optimal stock levels and visual merchandising excellence. Strategic Growth - Lead the rollout of new store openings, renovations, and the integration of innovative retail solutions. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: 10+ years of experience in luxury or premium retail leadership, managing multi-location operations with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. A proven track record of driving sales growth, customer engagement, and operational excellence. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability management. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and inspire high-performing teams. A customer-centric mindset, ensuring an elevated and personalised shopping experience. Experience in strategic business planning, digital transformation, and retail innovation. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
