The Company: Our client is an Australian owned supplier and manufacturer, dedicated to supporting farmers, mechanics, contract harvesters, dealers and reseller groups, nationally. They possess a proven reputation for delivering innovative harvesting equipment and parts, with a strong focus on front and header optimisation solutions. As part of their succession plans within the business, the group now wishes to appoint a seasoned General Manager Sales and Marketing, to drive and manage the agreed future company strategy, from their Perth Head Office. The Position: Reporting to the Chair, the General Manager, Sales & Marketing will be responsible for the maintenance and growth of the business nationally. This will involve: Leading, motivating and mentoring the sales, marketing and supply-chain business functions Identifying growth opportunities by analysing market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity - to develop dynamic sales and marketing strategies Using CRM tools to track client interactions, pipeline and inventory Building and maintaining trusted relationships with farmers, suppliers, distributers and industry groups (some travel expected) Providing consistent brand messaging across all channels, including digital and social media Representing the business at industry events, field days, conferences and networking functions Negotiating third-party commercial terms and contracts Reporting on financial and operational metrics to the Board Requirements: To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates ideally possess the following attributes: A track record of success in sales and marketing or general management Experience gained in the farming, agricultural parts or agricultural equipment sectors A hands-on leadership style, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills A connection to agriculture, ideally in broadacre Farming Digital savvy with the ability to learn and embrace new digital systems Technically minded with an interest in agricultural machinery and innovation Team focussed with proven people management and problem-resolution skills On Offer: To attract a high calibre Sales and Marketing Manager to this exciting opportunity, an attractive base salary plus a fully maintained vehicle, tools of trade and incentives, will be provided.
