About the opportunity The General Manager – Multi Residential reports to the CEO of Wilson Homes and is a key member of the Wilson Homes leadership team. In this highly rewarding role, you will drive strategic growth, lead the successful delivery of multi-residential projects, and ensure operational excellence. This role is integral to aligning project outcomes and maintaining a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. More specifically, your responsibilities will include: Execute the multi-residential strategy including the identification of growth opportunities and market trends Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including developers and government entities Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities with key clients and developers Conduct high-level negotiations, address complex project needs, and provide expert advice to ensure exceptional customer experiences at all stages of the project lifecycle Take ownership of financial performance for multi projects, regularly reviewing and comparing estimates against actuals to enhance operational metrics Ensure proper resource planning and allocation across projects and sales, fostering collaboration and sharing of resources to ensure operational objectives are achieved Build an effective team culture that promotes organizational goals, encourages collaboration, and strengthens relationships with Service Leaders for seamless operations Champion a culture of safety across all project sites, ensuring adherence to workplace health and safety standards About you You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will: Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction management, business, or related fields Understanding of market trends and business development strategies Knowledge of sustainability practices in construction Thorough knowledge of construction projects, field operations, financial processes, and General Management Comfortable with a fluid working environment, able to take your team with you in response to rapidly changing demands Ability to rapidly establish a rapport with colleagues at every level, with highly developed influencing, coaching and interpersonal skills.
