Multi-Site Manager (Recycling Operations) Osborne Richardson continue to be the premier Environmental and Compliance recruiters in Queensland, and we are delighted to be partnering with an amazing, brand-new client. Working alongside the Endeavour Foundation , we are offering a 3-4 month opportunity for a Waste/Recycling Site Operations Manager to join the team on the Sunshine Coast operations. In this role, you will lead and oversee the operations in 2 busy Local Government resource recovery centres in close proximity to each other. In this role, you will supervise and oversee the operation of the sites, which includes supervising and directing customers in resource recovery / transfer stations area, maintenance of these areas, coordinating servicing of these areas with other contractors, bulk stockpile management and hardstand operation, vegetation management of designated areas, operation of co-located Recycle Markets and environmental compliance to the extent that it applies to these operations. At all times you will lead the way to ensure employee and community safety in all areas of the sites, as well as efficient operation under the standard operating procedures. Your daily role will be that of an on-site leader and will include: Ensuring all daily/weekly/monthly reporting (KPI, Financial and Statutory Reporting) is completed for both centres. Being the focal point for all escalations (safety, operational, EAP, code of conduct, etc). Provision of guidance to shift supervisors and senior employees, as well as general employee support across the centres. Ensure all internal/external stakeholder engagement is undertaken promptly and professionally to ensure centre operations remain safe, efficient and in-line with community expectations. Ensure income and expenditure for all centres is monitored and reported on effectively, to remain within budgeted margins. If you believe you will be a great fit for the role, please ensure you critically review the following key success criteria to ensure best fit: Tertiary or Certificate level education in an environmental or waste management field. Demonstrated experience in a waste management or resource recovery industry role. Demonstrated experience in a management role, leading and coordinating a team to meet commercial outcomes of the organisation. Maintain and manage budgets to ensure performance targets meet organisational expectations. Ability to prioritise, plan, delegate and organise work in order to undertake multiple tasks simultaneously and achieve specific objectives within a designated timeframe. Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal and communication skills to develop relationships with team members and stakeholders and deal with issues of a sensitive nature.
