We are currently recruiting for deckhands to join our team at the Bauxite Hills project, Skardon River, North Queensland. This is a FIFO position starting March 2025, for someone that lives in Queensland. About the Role: Ensuring the good order of the vessel and safely carrying out duties assigned by the Master or Mate, the role and responsibilities of the General Purpose Hand (GPH) include but are not limited to: Line handling operations including line splicing, care, and maintenance (8-strand, 12-strand, Dyneema) Vessel rust/corrosion treatment including chipping, grinding, and painting Operating and maintaining winches and other deck machinery Maintaining safety KPI compliance of the vessel including take 5’s, toolboxes, vessel inspections, and hazard reporting in accordance with company requirements To be successful in this role, you will have: Certificate of Safety Training (COST) Experience operating winches Working at heights Dogging and rigging qualifications and experience Dozer and/or loader operating qualifications and experience Current AMSA Medical Master
