About the role: Reporting to the Staff Specialist Geriatric Medicine, this role will be involved in the provision of clinical services to patients in Southern Metropolitan Adelaide. Duties for the role will include: Providing appropriate direct and indirect clinical care to patients. Coordinating the follow-up care of patients. Conducting research if required. About you: Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General registration (Geriatric Medicine); or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award. Clinical experience and competence in the practice of medicine. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including colleagues and other professional staff. Capacity to work harmoniously with all members of the clinical team. Being responsive to the expectations and needs of both clinical and non-clinical colleagues.
