The Role: The Global Sales & Partnerships Lead (a sophisticated Business Development Manager), plays a crucial role in driving growth and expansion for our business across the globe aligned to the growth strategy. The role will be focused on: Identifying growth opportunities, building and effectively managing a robust pipeline of global prospects and partnerships, connecting and managing key contacts from day 1, qualifying suitable potential partnerships, selling in the value proposition of the Matific offering to leading commercial discussions to closing the deal. Strategic account managing and nurturing new partnerships and relationships to drive short and long-term sustainable business growth. The role reports to the Vice President - Global Head of Sales. Key Responsibilities: Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders. Analyze Client Needs: Understand the business needs and goals of key clients and develop strategies to meet these goals. Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new markets, growth areas, and potential partnerships. Develop and Execute Strategic Plans: Create and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the company's partnerships and customer base. Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate and close contracts to maximize profitability. Monitor Performance: Track sales metrics and report on the status of accounts and transactions. Resolve Issues: Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts with strategic accounts to ensure partnership satisfaction. Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with content, product, marketing, delivery, and operation teams to align on growth and expansion efforts. Monitor Market Trends: Keep an eye on market trends and competition to inform business decisions. Report to Senior Management: Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities and successes to senior management. Travel: Travel as required for meetings, conferences, and events interstate and overseas. Requirements: Experience: 3+ years of result-driven expertise in business development and partnership growth. Skills: Strong strategic thinking, thought leadership, relationship-building, well organized, reliable, time management, business and commercial acumen. Competencies: Consultative sales approach, Problem solver, growth mindset, excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Industry Knowledge: Not required but beneficial in the SaaS, Education and/or EdTech industry. Searching for a quick-learner demonstrating success in driving strong growth results.
