Job Description

THE ROLE: Austrade’s Go Global Toolkit is designed to help businesses in their export journey and is now undergoing expansion to better support Australian businesses and deliver more tailored and targeted content and features.We are looking for a talented and motivated Events Officer to lead the end-to-end project management and execution of virtual, in-person and hybrid events for the Go Global Toolkit.As an Events Officer, you should be well-organised with excellent attention to detail as our success depends on delivering high quality events in complex and fast-paced environments. Ideally you are tech savvy, energetic and reliable with skills in event delivery (including virtual webinars), communications, stakeholder management and PowerPoint design. You will be experienced and confident to lead events aligned to business and user needs and in the use of virtual event technology applications (e.g. Microsoft Teams).Given our commitment to diversity and inclusion, Austrade actively encourages applications from people with disabilities, LGBTQIA+ people, women, and people with diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds for all of our roles.DUTIES INCLUDE: Provide end to end project management support for virtual, physical and hybrid events for Austrade’s Go Global Toolkit Provide system and event organisation expertise, demonstrating lateral thinking and a solutions driven approach Ensure the timely execution of all events, including critical path tasks from scheduling to delivery of live, virtual and hybrid events Manage event planning activities including all correspondence and briefings, set up on the day, execution and recordings with Austrade teams, panellists and participants Run post-event reports for internal/external stakeholders including managing dashboards and distilling statistical information Work with relevant teams to ensure all requirements and communications (presentations, speakers, digital marketing materials, social media posts etc) are effectively organised on time Review, update and communicate the status of the event calendar(s) Provide advice, support and direction on producing events, as required to other business areas of the organisation Contribute to a high-performance culture of the Go Global Toolkit team Develop effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally CLOSING DATE: Applications close Tuesday 4 March 2025, 11:30PM (AEDT)ELIGIBILITY: Australian Citizenship - Our successful candidate must be an Australian citizen.Security Clearance - Our successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance.For more detailed information please view the Information Pack.#J-18808-Ljbffr
