About the company: A market-leading residential accommodation company is expanding into Queensland near a coastal village setting at the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef. About The Role: The Golf Clubs Clubhouse Manager will have experience in Food & Beverage Operations, either in Sports Clubs, Hotels, Pubs or even a background in Catering running their own business. They may also have a Retail background with a great passion for providing excellent customer service to their patrons. The role will be to oversee the Clubs 7-day-a-week operation which is open to the members who play golf daily. The Clubhouse is also open to members of the public who live on the golf course surrounding the estate. You will manage the daily golf operations which include weekly competitions, the Golf Shop, and coordinate with the ground staff to ensure the grounds are immaculate at all times. There is a Food and Beverage offering that attracts the members to enjoy meals before, during, and after their golf, but also attracts the locals to enjoy the facilities as it's right on their back doorstep. This will be a role where someone can build a team to take this club to the next level by doing local events, increasing the function market with celebrations and weddings in the function room, and becoming the hub of the estate providing excellent hospitality to all the locals. Your Skills and Experience: The successful candidate will be required to have, but are not limited to the following attributes: Relevant Qualifications including RSA, RMLV, First Aid, WHS Previous Experience in F&B Operations, Golf, Retail, Functions and Events Marketing, Promotions, Social Media, Operations Reviews and Renovations Management of P.O.S, Booking systems, rostering & cost control Employee relations, recruitment, retention, rostering, training and development Negotiate with suppliers, drive deals, and understand the market Great Customer service, dealing with members, owners, and investors Dynamic, energetic, and positive energy and a hands-on leader Your Benefits and Rewards: Competitive salary of up to $80k - $90 + Super, based on experience Relevant training to keep up with industry requirements Free Accommodation for a couple on-site for up to 6 months Supportive work environment and management Join a growing company and excel in your career The role could be ideal for a couple who are ready to work in the same venue providing exceptional hospitality to the locals or someone at the start of their career in Hospitality with a business mindset to succeed.
