About the Opportunity Our EnergyCo NSW Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) team is currently seeking to appoint a Governance Officer to ensure efficient processes, facilitate compliance with policies and regulations and support decision making through the preparation of high-quality documentation and reporting. This role also provides high-level administrative and coordination support across the GRC and Secretariat functions to enable the effective operation of the function. This role supports the GRC, including the Corporate Secretariat, in ensuring effective governance, risk management, and compliance operations. It offers a unique and exciting opportunity to gain exposure to board activities, regulatory frameworks, and strategic decision-making processes. About You To be successful in the role, you will have experience in providing high level support and coordination and committee support, preferably within governance, risk or compliance functions. Your administration and governance expertise enable you to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy across governance functions. Your high integrity and attention to detail enable you to ensure compliance with evolving governance, risk and compliance frameworks within a complex organisational environment. As a confident communicator, you have the demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective communication and collaboration across diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of governance and compliance frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements. Experience in operating systems relating to Governance, Risk and Compliance. EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state’s electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable.
