Role Overview As the Grocery Floor Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the shop floor, ensuring smooth workflows, maintaining high merchandising standards, and leading the team to deliver outstanding customer service. You will play a key role in stock management, staff supervision, and ensuring operational efficiency while upholding The Fox’s Pantry’s commitment to ‘Making Convenience Healthy.’ Key Responsibilities Supervise and support the retail team, ensuring excellent customer service at all times. Lead by example in delivering a fast, efficient, and friendly shopping experience. Train, coach, and motivate employees to maintain high performance and engagement. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally. Ensure shelves are well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing. Oversee stock rotation, reducing waste and ensuring fresh, high-quality products. Implement and maintain merchandising standards in line with company guidelines. Work closely with suppliers and the management team to manage stock levels efficiently. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the store. Ensure adherence to company policies, health regulations, and food safety standards. Monitor sales performance and suggest strategies for improving turnover. Identify and resolve any operational issues to keep the store running smoothly. What We’re Looking For Retail experience: Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in grocery, food retail, or a similar fast-paced environment. Customer-focused mindset: Passionate about delivering excellent service. Leadership skills: Ability to manage, motivate, and support a team effectively. Attention to detail: Strong understanding of merchandising, stock control, and store presentation. Problem-solving ability: Quick thinker with a proactive approach to challenges. Multitasking & efficiency: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Flexibility: Must be available to work across a 24-hour roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
