Your Mission: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Health, Safety and Environment Manager to champion our safety initiatives and cultivate an industry-leading culture of health and well-being. You will have the autonomy and influence to shape safety systems, ensure compliance, and empower our teams to put safety first. Your Key Responsibilities: Lead & Implement : Drive health, safety, environmental, and emergency response systems in compliance with legislation and internationally recognised management systems (ISO 45001 & 14001). Audit & Improve : Evaluate HSE performance against ISO standards and best practices, identifying areas for enhancement. Strategic Guidance : Provide expert advice to the Executive Team to support data-driven decision-making. Investigate & Innovate : Conduct thorough incident investigations using advanced methodologies like ICAM to drive continuous improvement. Coach & Inspire : Be a credible leadership safety coach, reinforcing our strong safety-first culture across all levels. Empower & Educate : Support teams in conducting risk assessments, workplace audits, and compliance initiatives. Report & Analyse : Deliver critical safety insights, performance analysis, and strategic reports. Rehabilitation & Return to Work : Manage injury rehabilitation proactively to ensure a seamless return to work process. Train & Develop : Design and implement cutting-edge safety training programs tailored to workforce needs. Compliance & Oversight : Oversee permits and certifications for high-risk activities while integrating Quality, Safety, and Environmental systems. What You Bring to the Table: Qualified & Experienced : Formal qualifications in OHS with significant experience in safety, compliance, and risk management (preferably in heavy equipment manufacturing or similar). Legislative Expertise : Strong ability to interpret and apply health and safety laws, regulations, and industry codes. Audit & Risk Management : Proven experience in audit compliance and workplace injury management. Exceptional People Skills : Strong interpersonal abilities to build relationships and inspire teams. Collaborative Leadership : A team player with experience working across multifunctional teams.
