Group Payroll Officer - 9 Months Max Term | Sydney (Rhodes) or Brisbane (Strathpine) Based | Remote Considered Pay: Competitive Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description Join Our Team! We’re seeking a Payroll Officer to support our team on a 9-month max term contract while a team member works on a project. While there’s no guarantee of extension, there is potential based on business needs. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring accurate payroll processing, compliance, and stakeholder support, all while contributing to process improvements. Your Day-to-Day… Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll in line with company policies and compliance requirements. Payroll Administration: Complete all administrative duties related to payroll efficiently. Compliance Support: Ensure adherence to enterprise agreements, awards, data governance, and privacy regulations. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance payroll processes and recommend solutions. Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships with team members and external partners. What You Bring… Essential Skills & Experience: Previous payroll processing experience, ideally in a multi-site or multi-brand company. Knowledge of Australian payroll and superannuation regulations. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to provide meaningful insights. Proficiency in MS Office applications. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team. Desirable Skills & Experience: Experience working with multiple modern awards/industrial instruments. Retail industry experience.
