Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for an HR Business Partner for our Sydney office to execute and drive the Global Netflix HR strategy for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). This role sits on our ANZ Country Leadership team, and will be the HR business partner to all businesses present in Australia.A successful candidate understands not only team dynamics but deeply understands the functions they support and how they fit in with the broader business.They are expected to lead and model the Netflix culture, while being thoughtful about cultural nuances that may impact how teams work together with other teams in the region and/or globally. They are naturally curious about other people and cultures, and strive to create not only an efficient but an inclusive work environment. They will drive a One Team mindset in Talent by investing in time to build relationships with the Global Business Practices (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Talent Management, Employee Services & Inclusion Strategy) and will design, deliver and advise on the Talent Strategy to the business.Our business is growing quickly and constantly evolving, and as a result your role may evolve too therefore versatility and broad business acumen is what will make you most successful in the role.This role will be the first, and only Talent representation within our Sydney Office and will be required to work independently while building effective relationships across the APAC talent team.Responsibilities Coach, partner and influence leaders on key people decisions and interventions. Equip leaders towards inclusive leadership excellence to drive team effectiveness while ensuring a consistent employee experience, regardless of job level, language, location, background, identity or tenure; Drive the Talent strategy for ANZ to achieve regional and global Talent goals with strong collaboration across the Talent team including Global Business Practice (GBP) such as Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Talent Management, Employee Services & Inclusion Strategy and regional functional HRBPs Lead through change and navigate ambiguity, while maintaining operational excellence. Work autonomously and be able to demonstrate proactivity in identifying and addressing potential challenges before they become problems. Explore and analyse data to identify insights and opportunities for business impact, using data to drive business decisions and tell a compelling story that influences stakeholders. Be a self-starter who is comfortable in both the details and strategy, demonstrating curiosity about the business and organisation overall with a desire to uplevel the partnership with the teams they support. QualificationsMinimum of 8 - 10 years progressive human resources experience working in dynamic environments. Must have robust HR Business Partnering experience with a proven ability and readiness to be hands-on. Strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to translate business strategy into actionable talent solutions. Demonstrated stakeholder management, influencing and accountability skills - especially with senior leaders. Strong judgment, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Demonstrated learning agility and adaptability. Proven coaching, communication, and leadership skills, setting an example of excellence. Skills for coaching leaders to mitigate bias in talent decisions and drive a consistent employee experience is essential. Track record of thriving in a high-performance inclusive culture with strong resilience. Has worked in a matrixed and functional environment. Expertise in change management, capable of navigating complex and ambiguous situations. Cultural sensitivity and experience in working within a diverse, multicultural environment.
