Role The successful candidate for this role will be part of a team responsible for delivery of a range of HR and payroll policy, systems and processes, including leave and payroll to key clients in Victorian government schools and non-school locations. The HR and Payroll Officer supports the service delivery of HR and payroll policy, systems and processes. The incumbent offers guidance on policy adherence and resolves complex payroll issues. Through cross-functional collaboration, they support the delivery of high-quality HR and payroll solutions and services. Responsibilities Role Requirements Decision Making Resolves local operational service delivery problems within guidelines. Assesses and responds to policy and process changes in the work area. Monitors and administers straightforward, local contracts and service agreements within a well-defined service delivery framework. Investigates and assesses actions against legislation, rules, regulations, and service agreements. The incumbent will be supporting the service delivery of HR and payroll policy, systems, and processes. The incumbent offers guidance on policy adherence and resolves complex payroll issues. Through cross-functional collaboration, they support the delivery of high-quality HR and payroll solutions and services. To be successful in this role, you will be solution and client-focused and can be relied on your problem-solving skills, influence, and negotiating skills.
