Join to apply for the HR/Recruitment Coordinator - Brisbane role at Securecorp About the Opportunity: Securecorp is seeking a self-motivated, energetic, and resourceful HR/Recruitment Coordinator to join our Human Resources team on a full-time basis in our Brisbane office. This exciting role is perfect for individuals with experience in talent acquisition or those with transferable skills in customer service, administration, or sales who are looking to develop their career in HR and talent acquisition. As a key member of our HR team, you’ll report directly to the HR Manager and play a crucial role at the heart of our business. Your efforts will ensure we attract, hire, and retain employees who embody our values and share our passion for consistently delivering innovative and sustainable services, all while maintaining a strong focus on preserving the safety of our customers and communities. In this role, you’ll manage talent acquisition and HR responsibilities, coach and advise managers on recruitment, general HR matters and ensure that HR frameworks and strategies align with business needs. This role provides an annual salary of $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 depending on experience + Superannuation. Key Responsibilities Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job advertisements, applicant screening, interviews, reference checks, onboarding, and offboarding. Develop and review position descriptions, job advertisements, selection criteria, and role-specific interview guides. Build strong relationships with Business Managers, job active providers, and training institutions to source skilled talent. Oversee employee inductions, coordinate mandatory training, and maintain accurate training records. Maintain candidate profiles and employee records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Contribute to the review and development of HR policies and procedures. Assist with workers’ compensation, injury management, complex case management, occupational health and safety, and other HR responsibilities such as employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment legislation. Support the HR Manager with general administrative duties. About You To be successful in this role, you’ll bring: 1-2 years of experience in talent acquisition, HR, administration, customer service, or sales, with the ability to confidently engage with high-volume candidates daily. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Kronos or similar HRIS is highly desirable. Ability to build strong relationships with line managers. High level of organisation, attention to detail and time management skills. Willingness to learn and put forward ideas for improvement. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with individuals at all levels. Knowledge of the recruitment process, including screening, interviewing, and reference checks. Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively. A positive and proactive work ethic. Well-developed customer service skills and a proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving. A team-focused attitude, while also being able to work autonomously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
