The Perth hub is an essential port for the Qantas network, connecting Australia to key Domestic and International destinations. As the senior executive leader across our Western Australia and Northern Territory operations, the Head of Airport Operations (WA & NT) is a vital role within our Customer Service and Ground Operations team, driving safety, service, and operational excellence across airports in WA & NT. In this influential position, you'll liaise with internal and external stakeholders, represent the Qantas brand with media and VIPs, and manage third-party providers. You will ensure cohesive operational delivery and maintain compliance with regulatory and financial KPIs. To be successful in this role you will bring: Demonstrated people leadership experience in a large scale, safety first and complex operational environment managing activity across multiple business areas and working environments. A highly collaborative leadership style with the ability to be courageous and drive outcomes aligned to strategic business priorities. Experience leading large scale continuous improvement and change programs that deliver step changes to operational performance. Demonstrated ability to operate at a highly strategic level while balancing long-term priorities with immediate operational needs. Strong analytical skills with high level planning and lateral problem-solving skills. Knowledge of (and demonstrated commitment to) the principles and practices of employment equity, ethical conduct and workplace health and safety. Strong executive stakeholder management skills with a proven track record of collaboration across business units, functions and teams. Sound understanding of and experience operating within Safety management systems. Experience with third party contract management. Why Qantas?
