What you’ll do Lead and inspire our compliance advisory team Influence and shape PetSure’s compliance strategy Provide specialist compliance advice to the marketing, product and communications team, brand partners, senior leadership and CEO and the Board as required Provide compliance advice aligned to the organisation’s commercial objectives and strategic goals Contribute to ensuring that internal policies and procedures remain current and compliant with regulatory requirements and applicable legislation Contribute to the risk report and other risk-based documents. Assist with managing periodic risk and compliance obligations, attestations and processes to satisfy all compliance requirements Advise PetSure’s Chief Legal Officer on material compliance related issues as required Provide regular reporting to satisfy our regulatory, committee and board obligations including the quarterly regulatory and compliance report and the audit, risk and compliance report Monitor upcoming legal and regulatory requirements, and changes to existing laws, international obligations and government policy Respond and assist with regulatory queries and notices from ASIC, APRA, AFCA and others Prepare notifications to regulators and the Code Governance Committee Participate in policy working groups with the Insurance Council of Australia What you’ll bring Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks and regulatory environment for General Insurance in Australia Ability to interpret relevant legislation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills Strong reporting and analytical skills Proven ability to manage competing workloads and prioritise matters based on business need Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to ‘making things happen’ and delivering outputs Innovative thinker with a demonstrated ability to work with others to problem solve who brings a passion for continuous improvement Passionate about PetSure’s purpose Want to love where you work?
