Job Description

The Opportunity The Islamic College of Brisbane is seeking an exceptional and experienced leader to join our Senior Executive Leadership team as the Head of Distance Learning Education. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our distance learning programmes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education to our students across Queensland and beyond. Key Responsibilities Providing strategic direction and leadership for the distance learning education department Developing and implementing innovative learning strategies to enhance the online/distance learning experience for students Ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of distance learning courses and curriculum Monitoring student progress and implementing measures to support student success Liaising with key stakeholders, including parents and the broader school community Continuously improving the distance learning programme to meet evolving student and regulatory needs Selection Criteria Management experience in Business, Marketing and Commerce Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing effective distance learning strategies and programmes Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Thorough understanding of the regulatory and compliance requirements for distance education Commitment to providing a high-quality educational experience for students Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Education in Business or Education About us The Islamic College of Brisbane is a leading independent school providing high-quality education underpinned by Islamic values and principles.
