This is a permanent full-time opportunity based at the North Parramatta campus for a Term 2 2025 commencement. THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Educational Support Services (ESS) to lead our dedicated team in delivering inclusive education practices across all year levels. This role is pivotal in ensuring that students with diverse learning needs receive the support necessary for academic success and personal growth. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of support programs for students with diverse learning needs. Oversee and manage the ESS team, including Learning Support Teachers, Educational Assistants, and allied professionals. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to design and implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs). Promote an inclusive learning environment by supporting staff with best-practice differentiation and intervention strategies. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, legislation, and funding requirements related to student support. Conduct assessments and provide expert guidance on learning difficulties, disabilities, and social-emotional support. Deliver professional development and training to teaching staff to enhance inclusive education practices. Focus on Senior School with an oversight of ESS at our Prep and Tudor House campuses. Qualifications & Experience A degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field (postgraduate qualifications preferred). Proven experience in a leadership role within an educational support setting. Demonstrated expertise in inclusive education practices, learning difficulties, and intervention strategies. Strong knowledge of Australian education policies and frameworks related to disability and learning support. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. A commitment to fostering a supportive and nurturing learning environment.
